Stuttgart

The Stuttgart site was founded in August 2023. The focus is on the core industrial sectors of the state capital with the Stuttgart region, where around 2.8 million inhabitants generate about 30% of Baden-Württemberg's economic power. The high research expenditure of 8.2% creates an innovative, entrepreneurial environment for the classic industry sectors such as production technology, machinery and plant engineering, mobility and automotive clusters with suppliers as well as aerospace topics. There are also fast-growing future fields in the health industry with AI, biotechnology and medical technology. Alternative drive technologies, but also creative industries and architecture as well as textile technology complete the picture. In addition, these activities are complemented by an excellent R&D infrastructure with numerous universities, universities of applied sciences and other renowned research institutions within a 50 km radius.
