I studied molecular biology at the Universities of Hamburg and Lübeck - I was particularly interested in virology, which led me to specialize in human pathogenic viruses at the Heinrich Pette Institute Hamburg, where I completed my doctorate. During this intensive time in the laboratory, I felt a view beyond the horizon was necessary to my research and thus as a guest scientist I coordinated collaborative R&D projects in Scotland. Relatively quickly, my talent for coordinating and implementing interdisciplinary projects was to shape my professional career. Hence, in 2019, a position as network manager for the Innovation Network Industry 4.0 in Food Processing at EurA was the next logical step for me. Since 2021 I have been leader of the Agrifood team and shortly after was assigned the deputy head of the Hamburg office in 2022. As a mother of a 5-year-old daughter, I am an example for many young mothers, demonstrating - family and career is possible! My foresight, professional competence and dedication made millions of euros in EU project funding possible for our clients.
