Business Development Africa

Africa is seen by many economic experts as the growth market of the future. Today, many African countries enjoy political and economic stability with growth rates of more than 2.5%. With an expected population increase to 2.5 billion people by 2050 (compared to 1.4 billion today), there are numerous development needs on the continent that will continue to grow in the coming years.

Are your markets of tomorrow located in developing and emerging countries? Are you planning to expand your company into Africa? Benefit now from subsidised advice worth almost 50,000 euros. Contact us and find out what options you have.

'Consultancy Vouchers Africa' programme

Every market entry is associated with uncertainties. Tailored advice can help to minimise these in advance and thus facilitate market entry. This is precisely where the Consultancy Vouchers Africa funding programme from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) comes in.

It supports small and medium-sized enterprises with external consultancy services for their business projects in Africa. The programme covers 85% of eligible consultancy costs up to a maximum of 49,572 euros per year. EurA is a listed consulting company under this programme and supports companies in applying for the vouchers.

Our services for you

We offer you customised solutions that range from the preparation phase of your projects to their operational implementation. Benefit from our specialised knowledge of African markets and their players. In various sectors such as agriculture, water and wastewater management, energy and food technology, we offer a range of services to help your business grow in Africa.

Market studies

We identify potential markets in Africa and show you the business opportunities in selected target countries, including Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast). We position your assets or territory in the market, decipher how the market works and who the players are, and analyse market conditions to support your decision-making on strategic challenges. With these insights, we develop the right market entry strategy. Whether investment, market entry strategy or finding potential markets – we are there for you.

Building strategic partnerships

We find the right business partners for you and bring you together with the right contacts for your project. Above all, we support you in building trusting business relationships, which differ in African countries from those in Germany. We know the cultural differences, understand the communication style and are familiar with business etiquette so that you have a valuable advisor at your side.

Funding application

Germany supports private sector projects in developing and newly industrialising countries. We will find the right funding opportunities for your company and support you in all phases of the application process. This includes, for example, the 'Consultancy Vouchers Africa' programme of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) to prepare for market entry. We can also identify suitable EU funding for you.

Settlement counselling

Different legal frameworks and social customs prevail in African countries. Our experts carry out a socio-economic study and support you throughout the entire relocation process.
We identify all legal and tax issues that could affect your project. Our team will analyse your business plan and work with your project team to develop the appropriate financing strategy. Available skilled labour, operating and logistics costs and proximity to customers and suppliers are also important criteria when choosing a location. We will help you to consider decisive location factors for the success of your business.

Business trips to explore the market

The success of your investment project is important to us. To ensure that you make the right choice, we organise trips to explore the market and initiate business. We will put you in touch with our partners in your target country, who will introduce you to cooperation opportunities and accompany you on all appointments. In this way, you gain in-depth insights into the markets and can hold individual discussions with potential business partners.

Marketing and strategy consulting

We accompany you from the strategic planning to the realisation of your projects. Our experts support you in all aspects of development (marketing, business development, communication) and help you define the measures you need to take in the target country:

  • Competitive analysis and positioning in the market
  • Development of a long-term business strategy
  • Creation of a marketing plan with measures and campaigns
  • Development of a communication strategy around your brand message
  • Management of marketing and communication projects
