EurA branch Aachen has been accompanying organisations, SMEs and research institutions in the aerospace and aviation sector for years and works closely with the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the European Space Agency (ESA).
In the field of aviation, future technologies such as drones, air cabs, autonomous systems, electric flying and synthetic fuels are addressed.
In addition to the advantages of high technologies, space services (for example earth observation, satellite navigation and communication) enable us to maintain and increase the quality of life and security. Also it provides us with excellent opportunities in the context of climate change, food security and climate protection policy. These space services allow us improvements in the field of medicine and healthcare, as well as new approaches in the field of mobility and digitalization.
In the space sector, the term "new space" and the commercialization of space are creating a new ecosystem in which startups and large companies are working on new upstream and downstream products and services.
At EurA, we ensure networking between these sectors and encourage the transfer of knowledge.
