Six out of six submissions in which EurA AG played a major role received a total of 255 million euros in EU funding. The Innovation Fund is the Champions League of European funding programmes, both in terms of the complexity and scope of the application and the funding that can be obtained. This outstanding result is therefore not only a success for our customers, but also demonstrates the high quality of our work.
On 23 October 2024, the European Commission published the winners of the Net Zero Technologies Call 2023. Of the 337 projects submitted from 27 countries, 85 were selected to receive a combined €4.8 billion in grants from the Innovation Fund. Nine of the funded projects are from Germany. All of these groundbreaking projects are expected to save 476 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent over the next ten years.
100% success rate for EurA
All six (!) EurA-supported projects were selected, four of which are from Germany, one from Austria and another from Denmark. This means a 100% success rate for us and our clients. We worked in interdisciplinary and often cross-location teams and always in close consultation with our customers, which included innovative start-ups as well as well-known large corporations.
In total, we applied for funding of 255 million euros with the aim of avoiding 39 million tonnes of CO2. These projects were spread across three different topics of the EU Innovation Fund:
Clean Manufacturing (four projects),
Pilot Projects (one project) and
General Decarbonisation (one project).
Particularly noteworthy: four of the projects were resubmissions and two were first submissions. This shows that revising the application with the right partner at your side can definitely pay off.
