EurA supports start-up HIVESOUND: innovation coaching on the road to success

HIVESOUND, a start-up from Hamburg, uses EurA's expertise within the funding of the EXIST program, which supports innovative start-up ideas. Thanks to coaching by EurA AG, the three-member founding team was able to further develop their project ideas and business model as part of strategic innovation management. The young entrepreneurs' promising idea is the digitalization of beekeeping through a personal AI assistant.

Strategic coaching as a key factor for success

Coaching by EurA AG helped HIVESOUND to substantiate and further develop various project ideas. The focus was also on follow-up financing, the identification of suitable funding programs and the optimization of the corporate strategy. Constructive feedback provided important impulses for sharpening the business model and the market entry strategy. The goal: to fully exploit the potential of the business idea and prepare for a successful market entry.

We paid particular attention to the marketability of the product. Based on a market analysis, we made concrete recommendations for action, which we implemented in an iterative process", says Sten Küster, who conducted the coaching together with Dr Jonathan Bank, both innovation consultants at EurA AG.

Success in the "Digital Innovations" start-up competition

HIVESOUND was also able to impress at the federal level: In the start-up competition "Digital Innovations" of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), the young company won a start-up prize of 7,000 euros. This prize is awarded to particularly promising start-ups that develop innovative digital solutions. HIVESOUND is an innovative start-up company: It is developing an app that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze the buzzing of bees. Its technology provides beekeepers with important information about the state of their colonies and enables them to document it more quickly and easily.
