EurA branch Aachen has been supporting organisations, SMEs and research institutions in the aerospace and aviation sector for years and works closely with the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the European Space Agency (ESA).
In the field of aviation, future technologies such as drones, air cabs, autonomous systems, electric flying and synthetic fuels are assessed and supported by us.
In addition to the advantages of high technologies, space services (Earth observation, satellite navigation and communication) enable us to increase and maintain our security and quality of life. It also provides us with excellent opportunities within the issues of climate protection policies and food security. Aerospace provides space for improvements in the field of medicine and healthcare, as well as new approaches in the field of mobility and digitalisation.
The term "new space" and the commercialisation of space tech are creating a new ecosystem in which start-ups and large companies work on the development of new upstream and downstream products and services.
At EurA, networking between the aforementioned sectors facilitates knowledge transfer.
