As coordinator of the networking and transfer measure DigiTier, I have extensive insight into innovative digital solutions that make animal husbandry more sustainable - by increasing animal welfare, facilitating daily work for farmers and increasing transparency in the agricultural value chain. My main task here is to bring stakeholders from science, business and practice together in the form of workshops and to present the research and development projects to the public. In addition to livestock science, I also have in-depth knowledge and experience in marine and fisheries ecology from my studies and my doctorate.
