My name is Dirk Schmidt, and since 2010 I have been assisting companies in the development and financing of innovation and transformation projects. After successfully completing my college degree, I initially worked in the industrial sector, focusing on the development and manufacturing of mechatronic systems. This hands-on experience continues to help me take a holistic approach to technical and economic issues. I am particularly interested in hydrogen, Power-to-X (PtX), and sustainable mobility. In recent years, I have focused intensively on the production and use of green hydrogen and green methanol. A key focus of my work is the analysis of hydrogen value chains, as well as profitability and TCO calculations for battery-electric and hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles. I am passionate about combining grant consulting with technology and sustainability topics because this leads to holistic solutions for companies. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with family and friends. The diversity and beauty of our environment that I experience during these outings also motivate me professionally to contribute to the sustainable transformation of the economy and society.
