Digital technologies make an important contribution toward preserving resources and reducing climate-destructive emissions. The potential offered by digital tech is limitless and is constantly enriching the German industry, uncovering new growth areas.
To accelerate development in digital tech, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection has published a new call for funding for the development of digital technologies, providing up to €75 million. The aim of the funding call is the development, testing and application of platforms, tools, methods, business models, utilisation models or standards for the economic development and integration of digital technologies in the application field of sustainability. The call for proposals has the following focal points:

Sustainability of digital technologies
Digital technology use in analysis and acceleration of the sustainability field
The funding call is open to all sectors. The project is not to be a small-scale proposal but should consider the impact on the value creation, supply and recycling chains with adjacent sectors.
Interested in applying? Please note that the project proposal should be submitted by 21.10.2022. The proposed consortium should consist of 3 to 7 partners. If your project is funded, it can start on 01.05.2023.
